We are off to Montreal. We are leaving early this morning in anticipation of bad weather (not to mention bad behavior…my kids are beastly on road trips) the entire way there.
i’m totally unprepared. I had planned to load-up my ipod with all kinds of new music and force the husband to listen to it…but instead, i’ll be listening to him practice singing the Rock Band songs. GREAT. at least i bought myself a hat
fancy, i know.
so, the husband is putting the pressure on for me to get my ass in gear….”Ali, we haven’t done the movies yet…we haven’t done the kids stuff yet…”

…the only catch is that as soon as he saw his new hair he burst into hysterical tears “i don’t like the way i look!” poor thing. it’s a bit shorter than even i would like…but that’s what you get when you allow your husband to take your child to a barber…and not a proper hairdresser. but it sure feels nice to look at my son and not see
