Cameron Crowe is the real-life William Miller…from Almost Famous. Lester Bangs mentored him into writing for Rolling STone. So, celebrity interviewer (kind of like me) writer (like me)
He also wrote and directed Say Anything and Singles, two movies that had GREAT impacts on me.
To me he is nothing short of genius.
I love this idea. I can really see the Steve Martin, too. I think I need to steal this idea.
