i’ve spoken before about my strange disease. in short, in case, you don’t want to click on the link (lazy ass) my eyes are fucked. it’s true. they are light sensitive. as in, i should probably be wearing sunglasses at all time (sex-ay).
they are dry. like, sahara dry. i have four different kinds of eye drops sitting on my desk. i shouldn’t be wearing soft lenses. and by the end of the day, my eyes hurt like hell. usually, all i want to do is RIP my contacts from my eyeballs. Usually, this happens around the time i have to drive home. perfect. timing.
there is nothing more safe than a blind, wee girl in a big van on the roads.
i go to physio twice a week after work. some people go to the gym after work. they are working out their bodies. i am working out…my wrist. i swear, it’s the hottest wrist you’ll ever see. well, at least it will be, once the horrible swelling goes down.
so, my eyes are usually in their finest form when i sit in the chair getting iced and probed. i do a lot of blinking and closing of one eye to make the contacts feel less like needles. but, of course, people around me don’t know this. and probably think i have some sort of weird eye twitch. or, when my eyes start watering, they think i’m crying. i’m a classy, classy girl, i tell you.

and winked back at me.
am still mortified.
i guess it’s a good thing i only have an EYE problem…
