Okay, it’s started to get on my nerves that Natalie Portman gets to work with the best co-stars….um…let’s see, my Jude, not once, but twice (cold mountain and closer), Ewan and Hayden Christensen (star wars), Zach Braff (garden state), and Timothy Hutton (beautiful girls).

How did she get soooo lucky?

  1. Hello there Ali,

    here’s the reason why:

  3. I beg to disagree.
    I don’t think her looks are that awesome – her head is a little too big for her scraggly body.
    However, she played a role early on in her career in Beautiful Girls that kicked a$$.
    She played the kind of girl that every guy wishes they’d meet.
    A cool, into snowball fights, no ribbons in her hair, hang out and have a beer with the buds, yet still pretty, girl.
    It’s taken her a long way I think.

  4. Her Beautiful Girls role was fantastic. But you need to see her in The Professional. Awesome. She was 10 in that movie. I knew she would be a huge star.

    And sorry Giblet, but she’s gorgeous. And she can act. And she’s brilliant. Yep, she’ll go far.

  5. She was actually 13 in the professional – – -she was born in 81 and the movie came out in 94. But, Sean, i completely agree, she was soooo good.

    And her beautiful girls role was awesome. I heart that movie!

  6. She was 13? Well that’s a huge difference. I’d expect a much better performance from a 13 year old. I mean, she wasn’t even believable for a 13 year old. 🙂 {/sarcasm}

    My favorite quote, I think, was

    -Bring me everyone.

    -What do you mean “everyone”?
