durr…
i had the perfect post all planned out.
i was going to post some photos of my new ‘do. i seriously chopped my hair. well, i think i did. the husband said he can’t even tell. bah. it’s SIX inches shorter in the back.
EDIT: ah, he sent it! um…shiny much??
(unfortunately NOT the best picture of me. when i asked the husband if it was okay to use, he shrugged and only offered, “you look much better in real life”)
i was going to post some pictures of my new computer. lordy, she’s pretty…even if she’s not a mac.
i was going to post a perfect Isabella shot. It was her with all her gear. the things she can’t live without. paci, bottle, boots doll, and her pink-striped socks. it’s hilarious.
i was going to post some photos that i took last night at the martell grandchildren family mega-portrait session at the superstore.

(can you see Isabella’s necklaces and bracelets in the shots? she will NOT take them off. under any circumstances. she’s a total diva. great…now i’ve got two of them…)
but alas…the best laid plans. the husband threw all the pictures on a disk for me, i brought it into work, and HUZZAH! …it doesn’t work. i’m hoping that when he wakes up, he’ll forward some of them to me.
i think all three of my sister-in-laws were ready to kill me last night. i wasn’t trying to be difficult during the picture picking process…but i should have realized that too many women stirring the pot (is that the phrase even?) no, maybe it’s too many cooks in the kitchen? that seems to ring a bell…
…i don’t know. i guess it was because i felt like i was paying for portraits, i should end up with the ones i wanted. but i guess it’s what always happens when there are three sisters vs. one sister-in-law. i’m the odd man out. i should have done what i usually do, which is bow out, and just lay low. it’s much easier that way.
but in the end, i’m ending up with a really nice 5×7 of my 3 monkeys. a 5×7 of the 10 grandchildren (and all three of my kids look pretty cute…BONUS!) and a 4×6 of the husband and his three sisters. (an impromptu shot that i thought should have been in black and white since everyone was all stripey and different clashing colored…but i should have just kept my mouth shut on that one too…)
