if any of you were reading this circa march 2006, you will know that i HATE the Jewish holiday of Purim. there’s too much chaos, and i don’t. do.Ã‚Â chaos. too much sugar and not enough sleep. that about sums it up.

I managed to survive the purim 2007 festivities. barely. and the kids totally rawked their costumes, despite us not being able to find josh’s cape until the last minute and not being able to find black pants other than his muchoexpensivo Burberry pants…but we all know that Darth Vader totally wore Burberry, at least that’s what we told Josh Vader…

I love Purim till the junk starts arriving at the house. This morning? Candy doggy bones for breakfast. I’m ready to vomit. The kids look adorable, of course.

Ok, I must admit..I’ve never even HEARD of that holiday…is it like Halloween? Loved the costumess…and YES…Darth Vader DID wear Burberry. It’s written somewhere.

They look adorable! I used to love Purim at our temple when we lived in Miami….they used to do an annual Purim Rock Opera. It was very good!
