yes, folks, he’s a kid who tells it like it is.
even if he’s at the Ontario Science Centre (yes, folks, in the great white north it IS spelled with an “re” and not an “er”….CRAZY country) in a room full of many, many people.
who all heard what he said. and who all started laughing.

well, my boy who tells it like it is told us like it is a few weeks ago.
“i want long hair.”
now, I actually *like* long hair on little boys (most of the time) and i don’t look forward to that awkward in-between-y stage but my only real issue with this is
i’m so afraid he’ll look like a girl.
yes, he likes superheroes and trucks and cars and Star Wars and xbox and he’s all boy, my son, but his face, it is pretty. very pretty.
and for some reason, every time i picture him with long hair i have visions of this
and that, kids, is none other than Jodie Foster.
i think josh is thinking a little less 1970’s and a little more emo, like sir efron over here
who also, erm, looks like a girl.
i guess i should be thankful he didn’t ask for a mohawk.
