Last week I started a brand-new job.
And then I disappeared for an entire week.
There were emails I ignored. There were TV shows I didn’t watch. There were DMs on Twitter wanting to make sure I was still breathing. There were morning commutes I was still taking. There was traffic. There were children who I didn’t see. There were events I had to miss. There were about eighty-nine cups of coffee. There were nights I fell asleep mid-type. There were showers that I didn’t take. There were some tears shed.
BUT!
It was all 1000% worth it.
I am so proud to be just a wee part of a bigger team that was able to create this:
You guys. I REALLY wish I could take more credit for this. But there are people who didn’t sleep for months to make this happen.
I only hopped on board this bandwagon at the very end. But I am so incredibly proud of it. It’s user-friendly, it’s clean, it’s gorgeous.
It’s the brand spanking new Yummy Mummy Club. This is the place that I will get to use my magical elf editing fingers from now on.
And this morning, I sent my little ones off to school after having a lovely breakfast with them.
I made myself a giant cup of coffee.
And then I sat down at my new desk.
And I worked on fancy and important editor-in-chiefly things.
And I even wrote this—my very first post on my very new blog.
I cannot think of anything better.
