sure…i may not have been sitting on top of Jude Law this year…and it may not be an Oscar contender of a movie…but I had a GREAT time at the TIFF last night.
it was a pretty good movie, as far as chick movies (and we know how i feel about chick movies….) go. great cast. Mario Bello, Amy Brenneman, the great, great Kathy Baker (who i’ve been in heart with since her Picket Fences days….oh how i loved that show…), Emily Blunt, Maggie Grace (who i can’t even look at and now hear Sayid yelling “shah-non! shah-non!”) and that dude from Transamerica (not that dude, the one who plays the son. hawt.)
oh, also, we stood in line next to this guy. from X-Men. which was great for us and all, but sad for him that he’s not famous enough to NOT have to stand in our line. oh, and there was FREE Starbucks pumpkin spice latte….which was probably some kind of ploy for all the poor men who had to come out and see a book about a book club….because apparently, pumpkin pie is the most arousing smell to men. mmm…pumpkin spice latte…
but now, sadly, i’m left with no option but to give up my seats to tomorrow night’s gala showing of “Cleaner” (no babysitter = not going to happen) so, i’m asking you, begging you, is there anyone out there in the GTA who is interested in taking these FOUR tickets off my hands???!! The movie looks pretty decent and if it’s not, as least you’ll get to see Ed Harris and Samuel L. Jackson in the flesh. come on, it’s worth it just for that!!! anyone? anyone? Bueller?
I’m proud to say that my Packers have started their season with a 16-13 WIN over the Eagles yesterday. wahoo!
come over and visit me at Fabulous today and find out where my baby girl is going tomorrow!!
oops, she did it again. Britney Spears is like a train wreck. you can’t NOT look….
