This is hilarious! I also love how the note is even dated and he even spelled Gwyneth (ha ha) correctly! NEVER get rid of that letter! Priceless!
Comment by Steph on May 27, 2009Okay, even though you already told me the story, the picture is PRICELESS, and makes it that much funnier. GWYNETH. HAHAAAA.
Comment by metalia on May 27, 2009I love it!! I have no clue where kids get names for things, but it’s great. My boys share an imaginary friend named Jack. Wonder what they’ll name the tooth fairy! hehe
Comment by pgoodness on May 27, 2009That is so great! And oddly fitting for some reason.
Juliennes last blog post..Completely normal or completely evil?
Comment by Julienne on May 27, 2009Why Gwyneth? Is it sad I had to look again to see how to spell that?
I know Gwyneth Paltrow may look very fairy-ish, but I’m not sure she got the tooth fairy gig! I guess your kids know best!
Comment by Kate on May 27, 2009totally adorable!
But .. Gweneth? seriously that is so funny!
Comment by Sarah on May 27, 2009gwyneth the tooth fairy hahaha
Comment by LAVENDULA on May 27, 2009I think Gwenyth is a great name for a tooth fairy – slightly fantastical and fun and not common… though I have to admit that I don’t want to equate the tooth fairy with she of The GOOP-ness.
Comment by Darcey on May 27, 2009Awesome. I need to meet Josh one day.
Comment by Angella on May 27, 2009Hilarious! And I love how he can spell Gwyneth, but not please. I can’t spell Gwyneth without thinking about it. Impressive!
Comment by Jill on May 27, 2009That is so cute!! You should have that to embarrass him with later!
Comment by WickedStepMom on May 27, 2009I adore this! I especially adore that he spelled Gwyneth correctly! Gah, I wish I had a daughter for Josh to fall in love with one day, for he seems like perfection!
Please say you’re going to frame this…

I’m glad to know her name after all these years.
I agree. Don’t ever lose that letter!
Comment by Joanie M on May 27, 2009Do all of your kids think her name is Gwyneth? Or just Josh?
And do you make them write notes?
The P.S. is my favorite part. Have then been watching a lot of Peter Pan?
Comment by Kristabella on May 27, 2009Haha, um…WHAT?
Comment by Camels & Chocolate on May 27, 2009is gwyneth any relation to the great pumpkin?
Comment by zeghsy on May 27, 2009That is THE BEST! I especially love the last line, “I believe in you Gwyneth.” It’s like he’s telling her he believes in the tooth fairy, but also he believes that she can give him all the things he’s requesting. Kind of like giving her a little moral support.

Comment by SciFi Dad on May 27, 2009So, I totally want to sign all of my letters now with “I believe in you, Gwyneth.”
Comment by Kerri Anne on May 27, 2009Too cute.
I blame GOOP. Sure, I blame GOOP for everything – the current political mess in California, Kate Gosselin – but I believe it works here as well. Just a sinister weekly email? I think not …
Comment by Legallyblondemel on May 27, 2009Wait. *sniff* Are you trying to *sniff* say that Gwyneth the Tooth Fairy is *sniff* fake?!?
Comment by Avitable on May 27, 2009This is so fantastically cute. “I believe in you, Gwyneth.” *SNIFF*
Comment by Rhi on May 27, 2009At first I thought this was to a girl in his class. The tooth fairy is much safer 🙂
Comment by Kimberly on May 27, 2009Wait. The tooth fairy isn’t real? Huh? EVERYONE knows GWYNETH….

Comment by adina on May 27, 2009I think Gwyneth is a fantastic name for the toothfairy and the note is just Perfection!
Comment by rachel-asouthernfairytale on May 28, 2009Ali, Ali, Ali *rolls eyes*, it’s obvious that this isn’t to the tooth fairy — it’s to PALTROW and Josh has figured out if she can charge that much for a membership to her GOOP Gym, that she must give great tooth booty.
Comment by katie ~ motherbumper on May 28, 2009I was reading this in google reader and thought it was a submission from Passive Aggressive Notes.com because I wasn’t watching where I clicked. The funny thing is that it totally works for that site too.
Comment by regan on May 28, 2009I’m so impressed – he did a great spelling of Gwyneth! And too sweet that he said he believes in her at the end 🙂
