Canadians sure are weenies. We live in a city where it snows. a lot. hell, it has pretty much snowed every single day since the beginning of December. It’s not like snow in Jerusalem. We should be prepared for winter storms. all it takes is a little common sense. drive slowly. and carefully.

and don’t make any unnecessary stops.

shut it…the stop at starbucks was completely necessary this morning…mmm…grande skinny vanilla latte..

i did, though, see a man do a complete 360 about 5 times on the 407 in his civic. but he clearly wasn’t following the ali drive-like-a-granny to work rules.

i complained to my husband about this stupid city. i asked for two things (the same two things i always ask for….a move to Atlanta and some snow tires for the Civic) and then my uggs and i braved the “winter storm”

i voted last night. online. fancy. i’ve been semi-reluctant to vote. Clinton. Obama. Clinton. Obama. i’ve been back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. and those stinking online tests didn’t help either. one said Clinton and one said Obama. damnit. to. hell.

i need a Clibama candidate. then it would be easy. (i can’t take credit for that. it came from Mom101…who got it from Girl’s Gone Child) truth be told, i will back a Democrat…whichever Democrat ends up on the ticket. but for now, in a sheer moment of panic…i chose.

so, now that i am at work…i better get back to doing what i do best. and today, i’m searching for images of the “finger-in-the-box trick” honest to god, i cannot make this shit up. when it was placed in front of me…i thought….hmm…coming off of the vocal cord shots i had to find that certainly looked less like vocal cords and more like, erm, vaginas.

case it point:

i’m no longer sure this body magazine is going to be appropriate for classroom use. fingers in boxes? and the kicker is…if i don’t find a usable image…we need to do a photoshoot.

ahahaha.

i crack myself up. sad, really. i best get my mind out of the gutter and into the stock agencies.

also..come over and visit me at Juice today…we’ve got all sorts of good stuff…like John Mayer in the Borat mankini…

I still can’t believe people can vote online. In New Hampshire they hand you a Sharpie and a piece of paper and tell you to draw a line to your preferred candidate. Apparently, we in NH cannot handle “technology”.

Did those of us who read both Juice and CTT really need to see John Mayer twice?

And the vocal chords? {shudder}

I am finding the Dem Nom so interesting… Obama gets more states but Clinton gets more seats… I know it’s impossible, but if the winner would take the other as the VP candidate, the US would be set for the next 16 years in the leadership department.

Clibama sounds like a dirty word. It’s cracking me up.
Last night we had a pancake dinner with my sister and a friend. We were totally debating who we would vote for – and then realized after that none of us even considered voting anything but democrat. Weird (not that it matters since we’re Canadian).
I was the only person in the room who was thinking Hilary.

So funny – in grad school we studied head and neck anatomy, so we looked at those kind of pictures for a whole term….i seriously laughed everytime as if I was a 14year old boy!

And a starbucks stop always makes the drive worth it!!

I thought that mankini was called a BananaHammock…or a NutHugger…

Oh and the first thing Sean did this morning was snowblow the driveway. Then he headed straight out to Tims for 2 large coffee’s. He has snowblowed the driveway twice more and it needs doing once again. He also made 2 more Tims runs – so, yes coffee is a necessary pit-stop.
