well, we’re here. it’s now 3:00pm local time and we have arrived. and we’re all in one piece. for the most part.
we hit one giant accident (one car roll over), two sets of really bad, down to one lane construction stretches, and three stops on the highway (at the side of the road) for a little boy with a big stomachache.
we slept last night at a hotel in Lansing, Michigan. all 5 of us in one room. yes, we are very brave. and it only took an hour at 1 in the morning to get them to go to sleep. and yes, we are terrible parents, but we let them watch 10 minutes of southpark. good thing it was the world of warcraft episode (awesome!) and not one with foul-foul language.
have a good weekend, folks. we’re off the fire station to take a ride on the firetruck. it’s great to have a grandfather who’s the mayor!
