Isabella, age 7: Emily’s camp is closer to our house than MY camp.

Me: Um, nope, your camp is closer.

Isabella: No. You’re wrong, Mama. You’re just wrong. Like always.

Me: Baby girl, your camp is at the community center. You know, where the splash pad is? The one that we walk to all of the time?

Isabella: Well, not *all* of the time.

Me: Right. I guess not all of the time.

Isabella: …

Me: I’m still wrong though, right?

Isabella: OBVIOUSLY.

Me: Obviously.

This seems to be a losing battle these days.

But. I won the jeans battle.

Small victories, yo.
