flower Lightroom 3.

I am taking pictures that I really, truly love. And Lightroom is helping me love them even more.

flower Dexter. I’ve just started season 3. Holy Jimmy Smits!

flower Fang Island. Local Natives. Fleet Foxes. The Morning Benders. The Glee version of To Sir With Love. That stupid Train song OMG.

flower The Settlers of Catan.

flower Keurig morning coffee.

flower Ginger snaps from Whole Foods.

flower Embracing your inner ugly

flower Playing  the punch buggy game with my kids.

flower The Porter Collector’s Desk from Pottery Barn. I must have it. Right now. For the office in my new house.

flower My new chi turbo flat iron.

flower Gap beyond skinny legging jeans. Oh my god. I love these. LOVE.

flower MY KIDS, man. They are just so ridiculous these days.

Example:

Isabella to me: I need to have my favorite cheese or my belly will explode!

Me to Isabella: Fine, you can have some, but you have to dance for it first.

Emily to me: She should do the African Anteater Ritual!

Guess who is getting this shirt next week?

flower Good causes.

I don’t know if you follow @carlospdiaz on twitter, but he is both mad funny and ridiculously nice, and he’s one of those celebrities who actually engages with little old regular people like me. On July 21st, Carlos will be celebrating his 40th birthday at Revival Bar in Toronto. Instead of just, you know, celebrating, Carlos is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to raise funds to help build homes for families who have been left with nothing after the earthquake in his homeland of Chile.

Sadly, I will still be cheesing it up in Wisconsin instead of being able to attend this event, but YOU can find out more about how you can help, donate, or buy tickets at carlosdiaz.ca.

What are you loving these days???

  2. Today? The color greaan, RoseBud Salve, wicker “basket” purses, the fact that a 3.7 earthquake in WDC did little to no damage, the soft empire-wasited “tshirt dresses” from (say it with me Ali!) TAR-FREAKING-GET, hanging with my chica’s at places like Guapo’s sipping margatrita’s, and stealing moments with my busy boy – Bill Bell – finding places to connect and perfect the art of kiss. Sah-weet!

  4. I can’t believe this…or that I just put 2 and 2 together…but we used to post on Nov 02 board at babycenter together. I have been following aiminglow on twitter and for a few years I have been seeing your name round the ol blogosphere but assumed it was someone else, same name. I logged onto babycenter today for the first time in 4 years for grins, and saw someone mention you had a blog…followed over and…wow.

I’m sure this sounds stupid but ya know how those aha moments strike you sometimes!

    Nice to see you again!
