so curious about what your dislike for Rent is about. I love the play, don’t mind the movie, but I also totally understand disliking something purely on principle (hello–country music!), so I’m intrigued.

I saw Nickelback in TO. Live opened up for them. I kept asking my husband “who” was opening up for them. He’d say “live” and I was all “I know it’s live, it’s a freaking concert…” Yeah. I had no idea who they were. Only knew one of their songs. Not a big fan.

You should give some of those things on your list a try…indian food and chunky peanut butter are yummy. Mojitos are gross — unless you like green mint leaves stuck to your teeth!

Avitable, I hate LOTR on principle, too! We should all start a club. Ali, do you hate Rent THE PLAY, Rent THE MOVIE, or the entire Rent millieu? Because I have fond memories of the play, but the movie IRKS.
