And this from the voice of experience: when he's grown up, and you try to explain how you felt that you hadn't been a brilliant mother to him, he'll look at you in genuine surprise and say "You were a WONDERFUL mother!" Enjoy this time with him and relaaaaax.... To me, you sound like a thoughtful, sensitive, VERY BUSY mother.
