Miss Maddie [ The Friends ]

am. broken.

I was all prepared today to come on here and bitch about something (Passover), to laugh about something (an out-of-the-mouths-of-babes Josh-ism) to snark about something (my nanny)…but I can’t.

I can’t.

I am just so angry at the universe right now and want to punch it in the neck. I woke up this morning to the news that my good friends, both online and in real life, Heather and Mike, are suffering more than I can imagine. Their amazing baby girl Maddie passed away last night.

Because I never have the right words, for my dear Heather, I will be eating some ice cream today (and wunderbars. There will always be wunderbars), and for Mike, I will be cranking up the Ron Sexsmith. and for Miss Maddie Moo, I will be donating to the March of Dimes…

Please donate. So no one else has to feel this pain.

I feel like I’m saying the same thing over and over again, but I can’t focus on anything else right now. I feel absolutely miserable for Heather and Mike. It’s not right. I would so fing fight God right now. i know, I know, a little harsh, but give me a break. This little girl needs her mom and dad and they need her. complete and utter bullshit. Argh!
