fruit #1

me: swee’pea, what do you want for dinner?

Isabella: i want to..um…i want to eat…pagina!!! yes!

me: um, excuse me?

Isabella: Pagina! i love Pagina!

me: WHAT?

Isabella: you know, that fing. the one with the noodles. and the cottage cheese. and the sauce. you know, pagina!

me: you mean, LASAGNA?

Isabella: yes, that’s what i said. pagina!

fruit #2

me: I needa shower.

Josh: i needa watch.

(um. oedipus much?)

(just kidding. yes, my boy, on occasion, does in fact watch me shower. but i’m pretty sure he was doing one of two things here. he was either a) mimicking his father. who says that.  a lot. or b) legitimately telling me that he needs a watch. as in a wristwatch.)

(at least, i hope it’s one of those)

fruit #3

me: Jesus, Emily, i have no idea what in our house is an example of a pulley. Your grade 2 homework is just too hard.

Emily: duh. just google ‘simple machines’

(That being said, yours are awfully cute.)
