When my boyfriend and I went to see Blood Diamond, there were three kids between 5-10 behind us, kicking the seats half the time. I don’t know if you’ve seen that one…but I imagine it could scare the crap out of kids that young who can’t grasp what’s actually happenning.

I just don’t see movies in the theater anymore…not just because of the general douchbaggery of the audience, but the general suckiness of most movies. I can’t stomach paying $15 an hour for a babysitter to be pissed off during the entire film.

Found you on The Bloggess! So funny! I totally agree with what you’re saying. Someone brought an infant to The Dark Knight, but it started crying 1 minute into it and it never came back! Oh and I haven’t seen Juno OR Ironman so I’m way out of the loop.

The same thing happened to me at Iron Man, except that the kids (yes that’s plural) were 4 and 6, and had bladders smaller than a pregnant woman. Oh, and did I mention they sat IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FUCKING ROW!?!?

There have been kids under 10 at the last three R rated movies I went to.

And I feel like I’m breaking some mommy code by saying this – but it’s distracting as hell!!!!!!! KEEP YOUR KIDS AT HOME AND WAIT FOR THE DVD OR GET A DAMN SITTER LIKE I DID!
