come and visit me over at Fussypants today. She up and went and had herself a fifth baby boy….and was crazy enough to ask me to hold down the fort today. i’m over there talking about my worst break-up ever.

also…last night as i was trying to fall asleep, i stumbled upon Karate Kid II. now you all know how i feel about the Karate Kid, and you’ve all stood by my while i confessed my sweet the lick/sweep the leg fiasco (i’m a creampuff!) but it’s been ages since i’ve seen Karate Kid II…Danielson takes Okinawa. in the first scene, outside in the parking lot, after Daniel’s big swan-move kick on Johnny Lawrence/Greg Tolan
and dude is all up in Daniel’s face…and then, it happens…the most unintentionally funny thing i have ever seen…some dude walks up to them and says, all serious, in a very Leslie Neilson Naked Gun-ish way “that guyjust doesn’t know what karate is all about” (son? you ever watch movies about gladiators? Joey? have you ever seen a grown man naked?)
i swear. hit the rewind button 100 times. and laughed each time. it was perfect.
