Having spent the 2-4 weekend working on my yard, I have to say I’m mildly jealous.

I do share your joy in the carded department. I went out to buy alcohol sans kids and got asked for ID. I actually said, “Yay!” out loud. The clerk just laughed at me. Such are the small, petty joys of a lame mother of two.

I don’t think I’ve been carded in a couple of years. That makes me sad, since I’m only 30.

On the bright side, I can walk to a Cheesecake Factory. It’s our favourite “don’t know what the hell else we want for dinner” restaurant. We’ve been taking the baby since she was, uh, 3 days old.
