Ah Ringette! I loathe that sport. It was someone’s great idea that women should play ringette and not hockey, but it’s all the same shit.

My ritual:
Up at 7 and out the door by 9.
In those 2 hrs I get myself and 3 children dressed and fed.
The school bell rings at 9:10 and I’m sippin my Tims by 9:25.

Ringette – my best friend played for about 12yrs. She played out in house league and was the goalie on her rep team.

I love that you’d never heard of ringette cause you’re right – it does sound ridiculous.
I went to school with 2 twin girls who were OBSESSED with it. I’m sorry – but you have to imagine dutch twins playing ringette. It gets even funnier. And they took it SO seriously.
Personally I don’t get it!

I have never really understood the whole “Ringette” dealio, and I am born and bred here.

Maybe the people who could not afford complete sticks made it up?

Why can’t my boys dig cute books like that? Instead…we love Walter the Farting Dog. Walter makes us giggle…farts make us giggle…Boys love farts. My favorite kids book is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!!!
