As for shoes … I have a similar problem. People tease me about it at work because I have bankers boxes full of shoes. At my old desk I had a shoe cupboard. I’ve been trying to sort out if I have to bring them home when I’m on mat leave or if I can leave them here. My concern is that they could get lost if they stay here (since my office is moving over the next year) but at the same time, my husband isn’t quite aware of number of shoes I own, and if I bring home several boxes of shoes I won’t really be able to justify buying more.
PS I go to bed at 8:15 all the time these days.
