Yes, I am very very (very) behind on blog reading. I normally refrain from embarrassing myself by commenting on two-week old blog posts, but this time I just have to. At least it was your own kids! When I was all of 15 & babysitting my regular babysitting gig, the 5-year-old girl burst in on me while I was in the bathroom. (Yes, I realize moms are used to this. 15-year-old babysitters though? Not so much.) At which point she announced: “My mom has more hair on her privates than you do. Why do grown up women have hair there anyway?” I told her to ask her mother. At 15, you have no answers for that. You pretty much just want to crawl in a hole.

You definitely stop undressing in front of your kids when they run for cover at the sight of you in your underwear. I am constantly saying, “If you don’t want to see me naked, stop barging into my room!!!”

As for the bedding…it’s pretty, but I fear that it is somewhat trendy. So if you don’t mind having it for a while and then feeling like it looks like those big shoulder pads from the 80′s, that’s cool. If you want something for the long haul, I would choose something more classic. You wanted honesty, right?

I love the bedding, I’ve been slowly changing my bedroom to blue and brown, though I prefer a brighter blue. I agree with those that said not to overboad and buy the valance.

today, the two boys i work with asked what the “puff things coming out of” me were. (my boobs.) i said they should ask their mom, only because it’s too soon for me to make those sorts of judgment calls on my own. once i know what the parents want me to do in those situations, i’ll be a little more comfortable.
