I have been WAITING for this!

One question - our confectioners sugar comes in different sized bags - could you tell me the amount that is in the 2 boxes?

Because I want to make these!

My friend makes this EXACT recipe and calls them buckeyes. They are SO famous around here. I have helped her make them before and gave them to friends. People STILL talk about them. I can’t wait to tell her that someone else makes them too. OH!!! And people couldn’t believe that we put wax in them. They are definitely some of the best things you will EVER eat!!

There is no way I could make these - I could not control how many I ate. BTW - that is a NICE kitchen.

My mom used to make those (and they were called buckeyes, too)! As soon as I’m done with the cookies and fudge I’ll have to try that recipe out. I’m so excited!

And also - your kitchen is amazing.

That looks divine but as a chocolate addict I’d make myself sick eating half of what I’d produce. I stick to pies and squares (which are difficult for me to nibble upon without destroying the final product). Lovely Kitchen!

By the way Ali, you look familiar…did you ever volunteer at North York General as a Candy Striper? I did as a teen and you look like someone I knew then. Happy Holidays!

Yum.
I am definetly going to try these.
Thanks for posting the recipe!

OMG! I seriously gained 10lbs from that post! I just might have to try making them…
Merry Christmas!!

Oh how I long for a kitchen like that. So beautiful! My husband and I could actually both be in there at the same time!

[ 26 Dec 07 ]
