guess what we were doing at 10am on sunday morning??

if you guessed sitting around in pajamas drinking hot chocolate and playing the wii…you are officially dead to me. because, alas, we were not doing these things. any of them. we were digging ourselves out of six feet of snow* to get to our friends’ baby naming!!

we actually had a really nice time hanging out with our friends, and talking about how much we are jealous of hate Riva because she is completely back into her prepregnancy clothes (with her THIRD baby) AND is back at the gym…

AND i did get a semi-decent (what’s with my double triple chin?) picture of me with my two besties…more weekend pics up on flickr.

okay…how cute is my son…he had to draw something hanukah related and he drew a picture of me!!

come on…you know it looks JUST LIKE ME. the resemblance is uncanny.

i do, however, have some suspicions…because the picture of “me” certainly bears an uncanny resemblance to her

*it’s highly possible it wasn’t actually six feet…but when it comes to snow, i am a total exaggerator.

come on over to Juice today. Monday is bits and bites day. so, expect some snark (of course)…and a Peter Petrelli and Mohinder Suresh sandwich…yum…

  1. We had just left Mississauga at that time to come home – TWO hours to get back to London but the Christmas party the night before was totally worth it.
And ya – Rainbow Brite all the way!

  2. that is a sh* load of snow!! i know we only live a few blocks away but i could’ve sworn we had less snow than that!?

  3. Truthfully, we did spend the day inside and I went freaking STIR CRAZY. As did my son. And husband. I think it was the stupid annoying treehouse voices that finally did me in.

I think Rainbow Brite is your new celebrity look alike.

  4. You and your friends look adorable! You must be a great friend to actually make it through all the snow. We spent hours digging out yesterday too!

  7. And here I’d always wondered what happened to Rainbow Brite….
Can you believe that the storm COMPLETELY MISSED my part of Ontario? Crazy!

  10. I was almost in tears trying to shovel my driveway (alone, since Mike’s out of town). My driveway is about 50 feet long… and then a neighbour came with a snowblower. I could have KISSED him.

And dude, that pic is GREAT, you and two dradles? So sweet!

  13. i can’t believe you went out. it took chris and bee hours to shovel our place, while i sat inside drinking hot chocolate.

  14. I don’t want to seem like a complete loohooser but is a baby naming like a baby shower or is it a religious celebration? I’m trying not to be too envious of your friend with the pre-preg bod. Where did I go wrong? Cereal every night before bed perhaps?

  15. Very close resemblance to Rainbow Brite – except you need the multi-colored leg warmers.
