cock-a-doodle-doo [ The Baby, the weight ]

this is how i woke up on friday morning: “Mommy! I awake! I need some milk! and some DoraBoots! Or maybe wondapets! mommy! mommy? are you dere? mommy!”Â at 6:00am.

this is how i woke up on saturday morning: in a hotel. in niagara-on-the-lake. at 9:47am. bliss. no kids. no kids. no kids. (it was so good, it needed to be said thrice)

this is how i woke up on sunday morning: “mommy! lookahme! i paint!” she sure did. she painted. with this:

all over herself. her pajamas. the rest of my make-up. theÂ carpet. oh, it was fantastic.

this is how i woke up this morning: “mommy. i awake. and i wet. i soooo wet.” at 7:30am. i usually leave the house at 7:30. i left the house at 7:41 (i’m pretty sure that’s probably a record. or something)

so, you can imagine how good i look this morning. I got ready inÂ 11 minutes…and i have no makeup to speak of.

oh yeah…i’m HAWT.

i’ve taken a vow.

from now until November 7th (one week after Halloween)…I’ve sworn to the lovely miss petroville…that no candy will pass my lips.

and now i have someone to answer to when i’m tempted to eat

who’s with me???

come on over to Fabulous this morning and see what my son decided to go and ahead and learn to do while i wasn’t looking…

Okay I am in desperate need of some sort of challenge to get my butt back into gear. So I am with you on the no candy!

There may be one week in that time during which my husband and children may leave me if I can’t have chocolate to calm me, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. haha

Foundation is BRUTAL to clean up. And I look worse than you do today - I realized with a dizzy shock at EIGHT that I needed to get my kids to school so I quickly threw on some jeans and a sweatshirt and ran them there without BRUSHING MY HAIR, let alone putting on some makeup. Eh, who cares? I’ll look cute by the time my husband gets home.

when we were away at a friends cottage, i was so impressed with how quiet yitzy was going to sleep. until i went into his room. which was also my room. he had drawn all over his hands feet and face with my favorite lipstick and lipliner. it probably would have been a good idea to make sure that my makeup case was safely closed inside the suitcase!

the first time i read this, i was all, “yeah, i’ll totally go without candy!” then i went around reading all my other blogs and i came back here, because i hadn’t left a comment and i just realized… i’m eating chocolate covered raisins. shit.
