The show had run four times as long as the actual Korean war! I loved the finales of Mary Tyler Moore and Cheers. Some of the cleverest I can remember were Six Feet Under, St. Elsewhere and Hill Street Blues. And I loved the last episode of my fave TV show of all time (so far) Rome. By the time it reached it’s finale, MASH had become so mawkish and preachy that it’s ending was well overdue. The show had run four times as long as the actual Korean war! But Sex And The City is the one that has me shouting and whooping for Big and Carrie (and we FINALLY get to find out his real name!). Other than that, how about Reunion or Studio 60. Those were awesome finalies and you get it all wrapped up in the end ... oh wait. (Assholes!) Friends ended like it should, so that made me warm and fuzzy. But Sex And The City is the one that has me shouting and whooping for Big and Carrie (and we FINALLY get to find out his real name!).
