well, we knew it was bound to happen. everyone in my family was sick…it was only a matter of time that i would come down with something too. yesterday i left work and my stomach was feeling a little off. so, i raced home and got into bed. where i’ve been since 4:30 yesterday. i’m actually feeling okay…but i was up most of the night and am pretty weak from not eating since lunch yesterday.
so, so far this morning i’ve watched Regis and Kelly, Ellen, and the View. oh, and also last night’s House and Monday’s Heroes (which my husband had pvr’d for me. sweet!). you learn the greatest things from daytime tv. my daughter is OBSESSED with Hannah Montana. anyone else? well, i knew that Billy Ray Cyrus plays the girl’s daddy on the show. what i didn’t know was that he is her REAL father. yes, folks, she’s Miley Cyrus. oh, and also, some psycho astronaut woman put on a depends undergarment (bwah!) and drove from houston to orlando to fight for the man she loves. what?! oh, also, Christina Aguilera and her husband have ‘naked sundays’ where they spend the entire day naked. cooking, cleaning, hanging out. all the normal things people do on sundays….just in the buff. could you imagine? driving to ballet and the superstore, doing my food shopping…all completely naked?!! hmmm…something to think about…also, Kelly Ripa was wearing black tights with a spring, short-sleeved dress. what’s up with that??? she always looks amazing. today…not so much.
ah, i miss daytime tv…and staying home. but i’m already getting antsy. i have tons of work to do and was already checking my work email at 8 this morning. i’m so used to my life being hectic…that i guess i don’t know how to relax. i can’t even remember the last time i took a sick day. i don’t know how to be sick!
