i interrrupt your weekend to bring you a special bulletin.

the very lovely and the very wonderful Catherine, of Her Bad Mother fame, has dropped out of the Canadian Blog Award competition for various reasons. you can read about them on her blog….but really, we all know why she dropped out.

Coming in in 6th place has its advantages for moi….I’m now in round 2 of the Canadian Blog Awards in the Best Family Blog category. and i think there’s no shame in asking you to vote FOR ME. vote for me!!!!! and vote often (you can vote once a day! yay!)

i’ve never won anything before…and you know how much i like to win. even if there’s no prize.

Hm. I got nominated someplace (I can’t remember where) for “Most Want to Go Out With __ For A Coffee” and didn’t win. It both amused me and was vaguely disquieting. Good for her for opting out.
(And sixth place is spiffy. Just being nominated, like the Oscar nominees say, is an honour.)
