winter is definitely here. this morning i wore my mitts. and i had to sit in my car and wait for the defrost to kick in so i could actually see out of the windows. some of the radio stations have already gone into Christmas music mode (which, i’ll admit, i kinda like).
but the one thing that REALLY tells me that winter is here is the constant need for chapstick. and anyone who knows me knows that there is exactly only one kind that will do:
this is not the first time i’ve spoken about this. it’s probably not even the second.
see…the real kicker with this fantabulous chapstick is that they. don’t. sell. it. in. canada. they sell all the other chapsticks - the red one, the black one, the dark blue one. why not this one, i ask you?
so, each time i’m in the states, i stock up. i usually buy about 12 tubes. one for the car. one for the bedroom. one for each purse. one for the kitchen. the office. the car. the other car. so, pretty much, wherever i am, i don’t have to go searching for one.
well, that is, until now. last night i couldn’t find a single tube. i seriously went searching around my house like a soccer mom looking for her meth. i was crawling under beds. in closets. i was turning over couch pillows. i was a woman insane. and i couldn’t find any. my stash is officially gone.
and i’m not going to the states for another 5 weeks. 5 weeks?! this is so not going to work for me folks. is there anybody out there who wants to help feed my addiction? anyone who wants to send me some chapstick?
