1. If you listen to the radio on your way to and from work, do you tune in to the same station each day? How about on your way home… do you listen to a different station than the one you tune in for the morning commute? If you don’t listen to the radio, do you listen to tapes or CDs instead? If you listen to tapes or CDs, are there certain genres that you prefer to listen to in the morning verses on the drive home at the end of the day?

every morning i listen to 102.5. it’s a Buffalo station and they play this game “star of the day” and i love to listen to it. i like to listen to “garden state” on my way home from work each day. it gives me the warm fuzzies, which is exactly what i need after work.

2. Do you drink coffee or tea on a daily basis? If so, what brand/flavor is your favorite, and, do you find that you drink it because you like it or because you just can’t operate without it?

i love the taste of coffee. you know that you drink it for the taste and not because you can’t operate without it when you drink decaf…. I love the flavored coffees – irish cream and french vanilla are my favorites. and i prefer Starbucks to Second Cup, but i’ll drink from both places.

3. Peppermint Patty… straight or gay?

Peppermint Patty… let’s see… my call is NOT gay. She definitely has a thing for “Chuck.” Although, now that i think about it – she’s bold and brash, she’s a huge tomboy, and she’s a good football player. And Marcie does call her “sir”. hmm…i may have to rethink my answer…

4. Are there any reoccurring or standalone fictional television or movie characters that you personally identify with? If not, are there any who you wish you could be more like in your own life?

I identify with Debra from Everybody Loves Raymond. She often says things that make both the husband and i say, “You SOOO would say that!”

Ok, on Weekday mornings I listen to one of the following: 680AM (Boston Local Talk), NPR, and Howard Stern. On My way Home I listen to 930AM (Manchester, NH Talk), and at Night I will listen to Micheal Savage on 680AM.

Basically I destest both talk show hosts on 680AM in the morning. One of them is a previous US Congressman that got a patronage job after Congress and got caught as head of the state transportation oversight group of using State funds for what is now the infamous “Booze Cruise.” It was him and a bunch of hacks that got photographed cruisin into Boston harbor drunk and raucous with rumors of topless women etc. This is to be expected, however he is dumber than a can of rocks and trys to smooth issues over and talks a lot about a “classical education.” In other words, like him, elite private school and just below A-list college. Generally one can get a good classical education in this format but he didn’t.

The other one is a strident know-it-all who’s opinions are very much skewed by his synthizing of modern popular media pablum. He supports the “War on Terror” but knows nothing of war or the history of wars as basically faught for the elite and for larger slices of econimic interests. He believes the US Government should be able to look at everybodys personal business because “He’s got nothing to Hide.” He is ignorant of, as was recently stated in the press by an attorney, a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich and an arrest can be made on less than a hunch. Basically, if they want you they will construe anything they want against you and use the overwhelming resources of the state to either impoverish you through court actions or just convict you in a show trial. Why do I listen, hell, I don’t know.

Howard Stern is the smartest talk show host. He is intelligent, quick, witty, and throw care to the wind. I don’t really care for his porn shit but I like his interactions with his staff and other people in his circle. He has great stuff with Wendy the Retard, Jeff the Drunk, Gary the Retard, Beetlejuice, Eric the midget et al.

Micheal Savage is a nutcase but sometimes he has some real nuggets of truth. Oh well, that is is for now.

  3. 1) it depends if the hubby is in the car. if he is then we listen to CHOM (97.7) or 99.9. if he isn’t then i listen to Q92 (all Montreal stations)- we listen to it at work and i love what they play . . . plus the morning host is our patient.

    2)i don’t drink coffee or tea . . . boring, i know.

    3) don’t really know peppermint patty all that well.

    4) i know she’s not fictional, but i can definitely relate to jessica simpson. no, i’m not loaded, hot, and famous, but i am a not-so-new newlywed, my husband is hot, and i also make random stupid comments that made sense in my head.
