Q1. Do you use the same brand and type of shampoo all the time? How about soap, toothpaste, and deodorant/antiperspirant?

i use the same brand of shampoo all the time – herbal essences. but i have about 5 different scents in the shower at the same time. i use whatever i grab first. i don’t use soap – i use bath and body works shower gel – and i vary my scent. always use crest toothpaste – mostly out of habit. and i always use secret (the click kind) deoderant.

Q2. Your fairy godmother appears and gives you one wardrobe-related wish. What do you ask for?

one wish? crap. that’s so hard. i’d probably wish for someone to dress me every day (and that person to pay for all the clothing as well)

Q3. If you could go back in time and rescue historical figures from untimely deaths, who would be among your potential rescuees?

another hard one. Anne Frank. Amelia Earhart. Charlotte, Anne, and Emily Bronte. Martin Luther King Jr.

Q4. Name five mundane things that give you a happy thrill.
the garden state soundtrack, desperate housewives, freshly baked cookies, really comfy socks, going up to pay for something and having them tell me its on sale, even though i was going to pay the higher price anyway.

    2. hmmmm….new shoes for each outfit every day.

    3. anne frank

    4. sleeping late. hearing benjamin giggle uncontrollably. new pajamas. time to watch tv. seeing benjamin toddle as fast as he can into my arms every night.

  2. 1) Yes. I am such a creature of habit.

    2) All of my clothes will always fit perfectly, no matter how many Jack’s Spicy Chicken sandwiches I eat (unlike when I was in school and I got fat from them. ugh.)

    3) Lincoln, King, Dean (okay, maybe he’s not an historical figure, but I’d rescue him anyway).

    4) The first Spring day when I can put the windows down, open the sunroof, and drive on clear roads listening to the radio; my daughter’s smile (I don’t know if that qualifies as mundane, but it gives me a happy thrill); being surprised with a chocolate dessert by my wife after dinner; realizing someone has left a comment on my blog :)

  3. Q1. Do you use the same brand and type of shampoo all the time? How about soap, toothpaste, and deodorant/antiperspirant?

    soap – yes.
    shampoo – yes.
    deoderant – yes.
    toothpaste – don’t care.

Q2. Your fairy godmother appears and gives you one wardrobe-related wish. What do you ask for?

    - I tell her there has obviously been some kind of misunderstanding – and direct her towards my wife.

Q3. If you could go back in time and rescue historical figures from untimely deaths, who would be among your potential rescuees?

Off the top of my head: Lennon. Kennedy. Dreyfus. Rabin. Lincoln.

Q4. Name five mundane things that give you a happy thrill.

    - Hockey Night in Canada theme song
    - Playing ice hockey (do I sense a theme?)
    - playing on the floor with my kiddies when the sun is shining through the windows
    - bbq’ing for people
    - driving manual

  4. 1. shampoo – always change it up b/c otherwise my hair “gets used to” one brand and misbehaves. deodorant – tom’s of maine (no aluminum). toothpaste – usually colgate b/c i hate crest.

    2. a huge, filled to the brim, well organized walk-in closet.

    3. lennon, kennedy, lincoln, christy henrich (her battle is historical in my book anyway)

    4. already been said – but man, sales are spectacular. a clean bathroom that i didn’t clean, when my daughter cuddles with me in the morning instead of immediately demanding milk, rainy summer evenings, catching fireflies, dressing up to go out.
