  1. Ugh, my MIL bought Charlotte crocs for the summer. Thankfully, since she barely knows her granddaughter, they were a size too small. Oh, darn.

  7. Emily looks so mature. Wow.
So, for the Crocs – I find Matt falls in them a lot whenever he runs. I mentioned this when we were shopping at Kiddie Kobbler, and apparently lots of people say that. So … just thought I’d warn you. I HATE crocs for that.
But, on kids they are pretty cute.
If you buy yourself a pair I will make fun of you!

  8. Hahaha, I’m a total advocate against Crocs, as well. However, when I was working at Lucky, we were sent a big shipment, and I tried them on and totally saw what the fuss was about at last. So comfy! I think they’re cute on little kids, though — just not kids older than say 12 or 15 =)

  9. From one crocblocker to another, I will just go ahead and admit that once my mother purchased some crocs for allie because she had begged for them in a store. And while they are terribly skanky, they were so easy to clean. And if you are a freak for clean shoe like me, they make good kid shoes. But for adults…hell no.

  15. ok, now that we’re all confessy about the croc’s… I’ve been a hater since the get-go too, but yesterday… I actually tried on a pair of their two-strap sandals.

And I (insert horrified gasp here) kinda thought they were cute. And could have totally used them while splashing around on the reef rocks in Mexico.

    I’m going to hell aren’t I?

  21. Croc-blocker. Another reason to love you.

Other than looking generally ass-tastic, Crocs also have that special added benefit of allowing your feet to swim around in their own sweat. Neat-o.

  25. Honestly…Crocs are brilliant for children. They don’t tie and they are waterproof. Why didn’t someone invent them long ago?
The stuff your kids wear is not a reflection of your personal style. Sometimes, it is just easier to let them wear something, rather than argue about it. Crocs prove that point.
Don’t let me catch you sportin the Crocs over on Work it! I will sooo tell!

  26. As long as you didn’t buy them for yourself, you are OK. Crocs + kids = cute. Crocs + adults = NOT CUTE.

  29. I missed this post yesterday amidst all the Memorial Day stuffing of the face around the barbecue. I’m so disappointed Ali, how could you cave to the crocs! heh

Just avoid the escalator at the mall! 😉 (Seriously, have you SEEN those pictures? They’re everywhere, and they’re disgusting!)

My MIL sent the boys some just because she knows I hate them. I keep leaving them in the back yard hoping the dog will use them as a chew toy. Wouldn’t ya know it, the dog won’t even touch them!

  31. Honestly? I was totally against Crocs. I bought the style that is just two thin bands across your feet during my pregnancy, and they saved my feet! Also, most people didn’t even realize that they were Crocs. I love them. Still not too convinced about the clog style though I will probably buy a pair for the Boy (economically sound choice and all..)
